The Imagination of the Mind is the Treasury that although liable to theft, never ceases to grow.

About This Quote

The imagination of the mind is the most valuable of all assets and assets that never cease to grow. It can be used in many different ways and for many different purposes and is worth far more than any other asset. An example of this is in the book by John Steinbeck, “The Pearl.” In the story, a man finds a pearl in a shell and sells it to another man. The man uses it for years, but then one day he realizes that the pearl lost its value when he sold it to someone else. This event shows how important the imagination of the mind is so that there will be no loss when it is no longer needed.
